About Me

Who I Am

I am Ahmed Ishtiak Nirob, a BVC-registered veterinarian and an M.S. student in Microbiology at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Bangladesh. My academic journey in veterinary science has shaped my interest in understanding health challenges through the lens of animals, microbes, and their shared environment, with a strong focus on translating research into real-world impact.

Research Experience

I have been involved in veterinary, epidemiological, and infectious disease research, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses. My work has also included laboratory-based microbiology and molecular biology research, along with data analysis using R and SPSS.

Research Approach

I enjoy working at the intersection of field data, laboratory research, and evidence synthesis. I value rigorous methodology, transparent analysis, and clear scientific communication, and I am always eager to learn new tools and interdisciplinary perspectives to address complex health challenges.

Ahmed Ishtiak Nirob

Beyond Research

I have been teaching Biology since 2018 to students from diverse academic backgrounds. Teaching has helped me develop patience, communication skills, and a deeper understanding of how to make complex scientific concepts simple and engaging.

Looking Ahead

I aim to pursue doctoral research focused on microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, animal health, and One Health. My long-term goal is to contribute to meaningful, interdisciplinary research that generates scientific knowledge and supports better health for animals, people, and ecosystems.
